Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver successful outcomes. Duties • Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. • Manage project scheduling, including planning timelines and coordinating resources effectively. • Utilize construction management software such as Prolog and HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting. • Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of project specifications. • Develop and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all parties meet their obligations. • Monitor project progress, addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize delays. • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to plans. • Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Experience • Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential. • Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Mark Systems is preferred. • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Experience working on large-scale construction projects is a plus. • Proficient in using construction management software for documentation and reporting.
