We're looking for a dependable and motivated Mason Assistant with a background in construction to support our team of experienced masons. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on job site experience who wants to learn or expand their skills in masonry. Position Summary The Mason Assistant will work directly with our masons to support daily repair operations. This role requires a proactive individual who’s comfortable in a construction environment and eager to develop specialized skills in masonry through on-the-job training. Key Responsibilities • Assist with grinding and repointing mortar joints • Mix masonry mortar and learn correct proportions and consistency • Stock materials and tools for efficient workflow • Perform material pickups and deliveries as needed • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site • Work closely with masons to ensure projects are progressing on schedule • Stay active and continuously engaged in tasks throughout the day Qualifications • 1+ years of construction or job site experience • Basic understanding of tools, materials, and safety practices • Strong work ethic and dependability • Willingness to learn and follow direction • Able to lift and carry heavy materials • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions • Valid driver’s license is required
