Job Summary: As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various construction projects. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the preparation of job sites, including grading, excavation, and formwork setup. • Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications. • Use hand and power tools to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces as directed. • Prepare and position concrete forms to ensure proper alignment. • Manage and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. • Load and unload materials, and assist in the transport of tools and equipment. • Maintain a good communication flow with team members and supervisors. • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed. • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors or foremen. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous experience in concrete work or construction labor is a plus but not required. • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. • Basic understanding of construction and concrete terminology. • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in construction settings. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from supervisors. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
