Masonry Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Masonry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various masonry tasks, including but not limited to concrete finishing, tile laying, and hardscape installation. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on construction projects. Responsibilities • Perform masonry work including bricklaying, stone setting, and block laying. • Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks to ensure high-quality results. • Install tiles for flooring and walls with precision and care. • Engage in hardscape projects, creating durable outdoor surfaces such as patios and walkways. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including those skilled in metal stud framing and plastering. • Assist in construction estimating to provide accurate project assessments. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety protocols. • Operate welding equipment when necessary for specific projects. Requirements • Proven experience in masonry or related construction fields is preferred. • Proficiency in metal stud framing, concrete forming, concrete finishing, tile laying, and hardscape installation is highly desirable. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • A valid driver's license may be required for transportation to job sites.
