Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be comfortable working in various environments. This role involves assisting with a range of construction tasks, including but not limited to drywall installation, plastering, and general labor duties. The Laborer will work closely with skilled tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities • Assist in the installation of drywall and plastering tasks to ensure quality finishes. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction activities. • Support carpenters in framing, building structures, and restoring existing installations. • Perform basic welding tasks as needed for structural integrity. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations. Experience • Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred. • Familiarity with drywall installation, plastering techniques, and restoration processes is advantageous. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely in a construction setting. • Basic knowledge of welding practices is a plus but not required. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
