About the position Responsibilities • Tests, calibrates, repairs, and modifies electrical and control instrumentation systems for plant production/process equipment. • Troubleshoots and repairs PLC hardware panels including wiring and power supplies. • Coordinates with plant operators to schedule outages for electrical and instrumentation repair/calibration. Requirements • Strong level of experience working with low-voltage transmitters (4-20 miliamp), control loops, valves and valve controllers, motor controllers, and electrical systems. • Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and manuals to isolate faults and repair equipment. • Superior understanding of safety protocols and practices. • Great communication skills. Nice-to-haves • Certificate or Associates in Instrumentation or similar preferred but not required. • One year or more of service or maintenance experience preferred.
