We are a small to medium sized mold manufacturing/Machining company located just outside Grand Rapids in the city of Wyoming. We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist that can program their own machines. We currently program using Work NC or VISI software , programming knowledge is required but we are willing to train on our software if needed. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision , attention to detail and able to work some overtime when needed are a couple requirements of this position. Below are some of the responsibilities • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. • Loading raw materials into the CNC machine. • Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software. • Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job. • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications. • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process. • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product. • Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
