Our team values precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship, and we’re looking for a motivated machinist to join our growing operation. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled CNC Machinist with 1+ years of hands-on experience operating Haas mills and Lathes. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running Haas machines and programing with Mastercam. Some experience with Siemens controllers is a plus. Must have their own tools. Job Duties · Setup Hass mills and lathe by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches. · Load and adjust three-and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices. · Load, install, align, and secure tools, attachments, fixtures, and work pieces on machines, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. · Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures. · Transfer commands from servers to computer numerical control (CNC) modules, using computer network links. · Enter commands, instructions, or specifications into equipment. · Listen to machines during operation to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and adjust machine to compensate for problems. · Watch operating equipment to detect malfunctions. · Remove and replace dull cutting tools. · Remove accessories, tools, or other parts from equipment. · Replace worn equipment components. · Perform quality inspections of parts. · Clean machines, tooling, or parts, using solvents or solutions and rags. · Must be able to work in other areas of the shop as needed. Experience · 2 years lathe experience a MUST · 2 years of proven operation of CNC mills. · Experience with Hass Mills is a plus. · Experience in uploading and downloading of programs is a plus. · Experience in Vertical Mills is a plus. Education · High school diploma or equivalent. Degree preferred. · National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) certificate is a plus.
