To support our continued growth Ensinger has recently constructed a 65,000 sq. ft. warehousing and shipping facility. Job Description The Tool/Die Machinist has responsibility for the safe, productive operation and maintenance of the machine shop supporting Ensinger’s Washington, PA production facility. The machinist is responsible for setting up and operating machinery to fabricate, alter, and repair machine parts, equipment, and tools. The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities • Promote safe work practices and demonstrate a zero tolerance for non-compliance with safe work practices, policies and regulations. • Mill, turn, cut, and fabricate tools and machine parts according to specifications, monitor accuracy during machining. • Utilize a diverse range of precision tools and equipment, including drill presses, chop saws, lathes, and Bridgeport, boring and CNC mills. • Accurately read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. • Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards, adhering to instructions and specifications. • Comply with industry regulations and safety protocols. • Regularly maintain a safe work environment, follow safety protocols, clean, and repair machinery and equipment as needed.
