What You’ll Do: As a Machinist at CAM Innovation, you will: • Set up, operate, and maintain manual machine tools especially manual Bridgeport mills, manual lathes and grinders. • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to produce precise, custom parts. • Define machining sequences, set feeds/speeds, and select proper tools and fixtures. • Inspect your own work against specifications and drawings before handoff. • Perform maintenance and minor repairs to equipment. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. What You Bring: Required: • High school diploma or GED. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in machining or a closely related role. • Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and inspection tools. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. • Strong math, time management, and communication skills. • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for long periods. • Availability for occasional overtime (evenings/weekends/holidays). Work with various metals to mill, turn, and bore parts. Use oral and written instructions, blueprints, sketches, and process sheets to guide your work. Precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers will be used to ensure accuracy. The primary materials machined will be titanium and 410-stainless steel. Shift and Pay Second and Third Shift Available Pay: $29.48/hr Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC machines including Mills, Lathes, and Grinders. • Perform machining operations primarily on titanium and 410-stainless steel. • Use precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality of parts. • Interpret and work from blueprints, sketches, and process sheets. • Conduct conversational edits, tooling changes, and offsets as necessary.
