CNC Turner - Full-time

CNC Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our dynamic client team - a Somerset-based engineering company with over 40 years of industry experience. Job type – Temporary Ongoing Location – Dorchester Working hours – Monday – Thursday, Day Shift Salary – £45,000 - £50,000 Key Responsibilities: • Operate a variety of CNC machines and associated equipment in a precision engineering environment • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality components • Take responsibility for machine setup, operation, and basic upkeep • Work closely with production leads to prioritize tasks and meet scheduling requirements • Monitor tool performance and liaise with suppliers to ensure efficient tooling solutions • Perform routine quality checks and adjustments to maintain standards • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Ensure work output aligns with quality and safety expectations Requirements • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a CNC machining role • Experience with multi-spindle machines is beneficial • Ability to read and understand technical documentation • Strong teamwork skills and proactive attitude • Willingness to adapt to changing business needs Benefits All terminology used in this advertisement is intended to be inclusive and non-discriminatory, in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.
