The Job: As a Lead Specialist, Technology, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoor team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to: • Maintain machine equipment for safe and efficient operation. • Read and interpret 2D blueprints and 3D engineering models/designs. • Follow all safety procedures and immediately address any safety concerns individually or with a supervisor. • Advise project teams of best ways to create prototypes for their parts. • Advise department on latest technology in equipment, processes, material, and methods to improve speed, quality and cost. • Program and operate CNC machining equipment (lathe, mill, wire EDM, etc.). • Proactively monitor and manage all aspects of employee health and safety requirements • Create and implement custom applications for use in model shop. • Partner with engineers and designers to collaborate on prototypes/models. • Create and manipulate increasingly complex 3D models and 3D CAD geometry.
