Description: To operate extrusion, pultrusion, or back lines in compliance with established company production processes and policies to achieve output needed to meet scheduled production job requirements. Role and Responsibilities / Essential Functions • Set up the extruder line as necessary for the job specifications • Set up the tooling (molds) needed for the job specifications • Recognize various mold sizes and mold types needed for the job requirements • Recognize various product colors and sizes based on the job requirements • Operate the production lines in a manner consistent with established processes • Machine settings • Routine cleanings of specific line sections during operation • Monitoring line performance for operational variances • Monitoring finished product routinely for variances in quality • Follow established processes/guidelines for • Color changes • Filling molds • Cooling periods • Removal and stacking of finished product • Trouble shoots minor problems with the production lines. • Provide assistance regarding finished goods banding and movement. • Ensure that production processes and finished goods meet the company’s standards for Quality. • Lean 5s. • Help establish and participate in process improvement activities. • Verify satisfactory completion of job specifications/requirements. • Work safely, following legislated, and Bedford Technology, safety rules and practices. • Follow the Policies and Procedures of the company. • Input accurate time keeping and production records. • Perform any other task or work assignment that may be delegated from time to time by management. Summary of Position CNC Machinist needed ASAP.
