Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description We are seeking an entry-level CNC Operator eager to learn a new trade. The ideal candidate will be interested in and capable of learning to operate both manual and CNC lathes and mills. The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. The role involves ensuring machines run efficiently and learning to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Responsibilities • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as mills, lathes, and grinders to produce parts and products. • Load and unload raw materials and parts into machines, ensuring correct alignment and positioning. • Monitor machine performance during production to detect any potential issues or deviations from specifications. • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure proper functioning and extend machine life. • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions and technical issues. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols. • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Document production data, including machine settings, production quantities, and quality checks.
