Program and setup CNC equipment such as lathes and milling machines with little or no supervision. Performs machining processes in accordance with policies and procedures. Manufacture and measures parts, making required adjustments on tools to ensure conformance to requirements based on print and/or quality plan. Read and interpret blueprints or drawings necessary to complete assignments. Change tools when needed. Perform paperwork as directed. Performs de-burring processes and protocols if needed. Responsible for keeping the work area and machine equipment in clean and organized condition. Performs preventive maintenance checks per instruction if required.
