CNC Machinist Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing sawmill team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be proficient in operating CNC manual milling/lathe machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating high-quality components using various materials. Responsibilities • Operate CNC manual milling/lathe machines and other machining equipment to produce precision parts. • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. • Fabricate components according to established timelines while maintaining high-quality standards. • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process. Qualifications • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of machining processes • Must understand G-Code, knowledge of Mazatrol is a plus. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. • Ability to read and interpret technical documents accurately. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
