Salary: $24-30/hour We have openings for vertical and horizontal mills and lathes with various machining companies in the Chambersburg, Mercersburg, and Greencastle PA areas. Looking for machinists that are: • Proficent with Mazak, Haas, or Mori-Seiki CNC machines using Fanuc and/or Mitsubishi controls. • Versed in G&M code. • Experience with 4/5 axis machining. • Ability to take measurements with micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and other various tools of metrology as well as visual scopes/comparators • CMM operation and programming experience a plus. • Ability to read blueprints and an understanding of geometric tolerancing is necessary. • Ability to setup production jobs with existing programs to run unmanned. • Mastercam experience would be great • Able to demonstrate a solid grasp of geometry/trigonometry. • Just need people who are going to be reliable. Job Description The CNC Machine Operator (HAAS) is an operations team member with the primary goal of satisfying customer requirements of quality, and delivery, by operating CNC machining centers in a safe and efficient manner. The duties include the operation of CNC machining centers that are commensurate to industry standards, with regards to program edits, setting up of tooling, and setting up the machine tool in general. Secondary deburring and packaging of finished parts, along with moving products to appropriate locations via appropriate equipment (i.e. fork lifts, cranes, pallet jacks) is required. Company forklift training is provided. Newer HAAS machining centers with integrated probing and network communications. Part sizes range from small (less than 1/4lb) to large (2000lbs).
