The Machining Technician is responsible for operating the Hoffman Steinhauer ModCenter for custom orders requested by end users. Additionally, the Senior Machining Technician will manage the flow of material to any offsite second operations in conjunction with Engineering and/or Planning. What You'll Do: • Responsible for interpreting process/CAD drawings and operating the Steinhauer Modcenter to fabricate control panel opening layout to meet customer commitments • Responsible for applying customer drawing specifications to finished product and control panel layout • Responsible for proper job setup (clamping and possible fixtures) and loading material on machine with forklift when completed • Inspection of final product to ensure final product complies with customer drawings • Assist with receiving of job material and inspect and package final product for shipping • May assist with material handling, purchasing, and other projects when panel workload is limited, including W/O kitting or assembly • Senior Machining Technician will shop floor scheduling with Planning, Production and Engineering • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Certified in Auto Cad preferred High School or GED - Required • Understanding of AutoCAD or related software preferred • Familiarity with CNC and machining operations beneficial • Ability to organize and prioritize work independently • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in person, electronically, and/or by telephone, with internal and external customers Additional Information Disclaimer: “Rexel USA (A VEVRAA Federal Contractor), and its affiliated companies, is an EEO/Disabled/Veterans employer.
