Key Responsibilities: As a Machinist Technician, you will work in the fast-paced Newark New Jersey Technical Operation department. You will play a very important role in providing service to our internal customers. Machinist Technicians are represented by the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT). Salary increases will be coordinated according to the current IBT/United contract. Shift differentials of $.51 and $.58 cents per hour for working an afternoon or evening shift respectively are paid in addition to the hourly rate. New employees are required to join the union within ninety (90) days of employment. There is an initiation fee for joining the union and subsequent monthly union dues.
