Other duties may be assigned. • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machine • Responsible for product conformity • Verifies tooling readiness • Performs external make ready • Inputs production information • Performs and oversees make ready functions • Performs set up verification checklist • Performs and oversees preventative maintenance responsibilities of operating personnel • Performs and oversees sampling plan in accordance to requirements • Participate in feeding and off bearing as required • Communicate needs, obstacles, and direction to those who need the information Qualifications that are required for this job include: • Must have a high school diploma or GED. • Must be knowledgeable in all normal box plant skills including but not limited to reading hard cards, accurate production reporting, reading and using tape measure, use of calipers and micrometers. • Must be able to lead crew in all aspects of work center operations. • Must possess basic computer skills, have the ability to perform mathematical problems relative to job functions, and possess problem solving skills. • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Specific visual abilities, including the ability to differentiate between and among various shades on the color spectrum, may be required based on the department/machine assignment. • Ability to read, write, and speak English. • Pay rates vary based on machinery NOTE: We do not provide Sponsorship at any time during employment • Vacant positions are mostly on 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd Shift (11pm-7am), however there may be few if any available positions on 1st Shift (7am-3pm).
