The Advanced Machine Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of slitting and ULMA flow wrapping equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production of cohesive medical bandages. • Set up and operate the Lever slitting machine and ULMA wrapper according to SOPs and work instructions. • Verify job traveler and product specifications before each run. • Load and align rewind logs and packaging materials accurately. • Perform machine checks: verify water mister, blade alignment, and program correct slitting and wrapping recipes. • Monitor product quality and make adjustments as needed to cut depth, mist levels, or wrap alignment. • Conduct first article inspections and mid-run checks per QA requirements. • Troubleshoot mechanical or process-related issues; notify maintenance as necessary. • Perform resharpening of slitter blades as needed, request maintenance support for blade changes. • Coordinate with QA and supervisors for barcode validation, first/last article signoffs, and tool change documentation. • Follow proper GMP, PPE, and line clearance procedures. • Complete production and cleaning documentation accurately.
