Rimports is currently seeking an individual for the role of Machine Operator at our Provo, Utah location. This role will report to the Production Supervisor. We are looking for full-time machine operators to work 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Wednesday & 5:00am-3:30pm on Thursdays. The Machine Operator will ensure that the scent charms machine runs efficiently, is loaded correctly, is well maintained, and remains clean with the ability to troubleshoot potential problems. Filler operators are concerned with the following: safety, quality, production. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds & be able to stand, bend, twist & move around for long periods of time without difficulty or restriction. Job Duties • Train on and efficiently operate machine • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled products to standards. • Adjust machine components and pressure. • Tend or operate filling machine. • Remove finished items from machine and separate rejected items. • Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature. • Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor. • Troubleshoot any production or machine down time issues as they arise • Stock and sort product for filling machine operation and replenish supplies. • Fill out all required paperwork during shift • Ability to cross train and learn other pieces of equipment • Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned Competencies Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (if Applicable) • Excellent communication skills, verbal & written • Reliable, punctual & takes direction well • Problem solving & decision-making skills • Organized, dependable, strong attention to detail • Mechanical aptitude & experience with automated equipment • Self-motivated, positive attitude, works well with others Qualifications (Education, Experience, Program Knowledge) • Minimum 18 years of age • Plenty of previous experience operating machines and pouring liquids • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process, GMPs • High school graduate or GED preferred Additional Eligibility Requirements Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Work Schedule 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday Must be able to pass post-offer background check and drug test.
