This position will be supporting the Propulsion Systems Division at our Copper Crossing Value Stream (CXVS) facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Role Description & Responsibilities: As a Machinist in our Case Center of Excellence, you will work on and inspect High Value rocket motor case manufacturing activities utilizing Machining Centers and Hand Operations. This job involves machining parts per specification by setting up and operating CNC equipment. The Machinist is responsible for: quality of the product by performing both in-process and final part inspections, care and maintenance of the equipment, assuring tooling and materials readiness, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position will require the individual to provide training to others in all aspects of CNC equipment setup, operation and maintenance. This is a weekday, night shift position . Experience Preferred: • Machinist Certification from an accredited Trade School • Experience with Fanuc Controller preferred Primary Level Salary Range: $51,200.00 - $85,400.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $60,800.00 - $101,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
