This position will report to the Production Manager and will have the responsibility of producing parts within tolerance in a high production environment. JOB SUMMARY • Accurately punch in and out of work orders. • Ensure the quality of work done. • Maintaining a safe and organized work area. • Set a good example/ positive influence for all employees. • Work with supervisor to meet production goals. • Move completed work to next work center. • Working knowledge of geometric dimension and tolerance. • Self motivated. • Understands machining principles – feeds, speeds, materials, etc. • Able to inspect and calibrate measuring tools. • Thorough understanding of CNC post processing. • Computer skills including CAD/CAM software, SolidWorks. • Ability to maintain CNC machines. • Able to lift heavy objects repeatedly. • Able to stand for long periods of time.
