Specialized machining training such as an Associate Degree or equal experienced based proficiency is required. They must be able to read blueprints accurately and work with close tolerances to create correct and working parts. A Machinist at Idaho Steel produces quality parts and equipment for the food processing industry and the general public. They also have the ability to repair said equipment and working components. The person is required to work well with others. Strong work ethics, integrity, and a willingness to learn and grow within the company are also an important part of employment with Idaho Steel Products.
