CNC Machinist

Global Industries has been serving the community over 5 years and is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist for Swing Shift operator 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The CNC Machinist must be able to Program and set up machines based upon oral instruction, CNC mill, CNC Lathe. Inspection of part produced. Enter programs and all necessary parameters into machine control of CNC mill and lathe. Other duties may be assigned. High School or GED: Minimum 2 years related job experience. The ideal canidate should have experience as a CNC operator, CNC programmer, CNC Machine operator, or Machinist. Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Ability to use necessary inspection equipment, such as micrometers, calipers and depth mics. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to apply commonsense, and problem solving skills to carry out job requirements. Basic PC operation and file manipulation. Master Cam experience is a plus. Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 - 50 lbs.
