Job Overview We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Corvus Engineering. Working here is different from most machine shops. We are a small, tight-knit group that takes pride in supporting each other and tackling a wide range of projects. Our work includes both one-off job shop projects and small production runs, so there’s always variety. The ideal candidate has strong programming experience and can take a part from print to finished product with minimal supervision. Experience with CNC lathes is a significant plus. Just as important as your machining skills is your ability to fit in with our team culture—we value good people as much as good parts. Responsibilities • Program, set up, and run CNC machines. • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings. • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for efficient machining. • Inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality. • Work closely with the team to solve problems and keep projects moving. Qualifications • 3+ years of CNC machining experience. • Strong CNC programming skills we use fusion 360 but this skill can carry over if you have experience in other software. • Experience with lathes preferred.
