The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; dust, airborne particles, loud noises and vibration. The employee will be standing for long periods of time, exposed to high noise levels, required to climb stairs and move equipment. The noise level in the work environment is loud; ear and eye protection is required and other personal protective equipment may be required depending on job duties. Position Responsibilities • Must prepare and organize (before shift starts), operate, and change parts if needed • Perform visual inspection of the product and documentation. • Operate machinery designated by line • Will report any material that does not meet high quality standards • Require to complete and fill out documentation • Report any issues with machinery or product including metal detector to upper management. • Will perform proper cleaning procedures for machine and floors between products and as needed • Will eliminate any possible cross-contamination of product in the area. • Responsible for wearing corresponding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure his own safety and others, this will include wearing hair nets, safety glasses, lab coats, safety shoes, etc. • Maintains all equipment in good condition during any usage, storage and sanitized • Keep good housekeeping practices throughout the company especially in assigned areas. • Must perform inspection of machinery including pre-operational inspections. • Familiarize and obtain knowledge through operating systems (RedZone) • Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: • Preferred operating manufacturing machinery experience • High School Diploma required • Preferred food manufacturing environment • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience preferred • Ability to work with positive attitude in a high stress environment • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. • Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred • Must be able to work in a team environment. • Must have good written and oral communication skills. • Flexible availability to work Saturdays due to business needs The pay for this role in the state of NJ is $17.70/hr and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Programmer Qualifications/Skills: · Strong knowledge of CAD and CAM software. · Proficient in CNC programming and G-code. · Experience with precision machinery and manufacturing processes. · Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. · Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. · Ability to read and interpret technical documentation. Education and/or Experience: Minimum three years of experience in CNC programming. Experience working with Mechanical Test Equipment and machine tools. Formal training from an accredited trade school a plus but not mandatory. Work ability: Must be able to work in the United States.
