Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team (7:30am-4pm). The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining two CNC machines (CAMaster & Biesse), building and breaking down tools, measuring components for precision, and ensuring parts are properly labeled and organized. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the physical ability to handle heavy materials and work in a fast-paced production environment. Duties • Operate and monitor two CNC machines (CAMaster and Biesse) efficiently and safely. • Set up tools and fixtures, including building and breaking down tooling as required for production runs. • Measure and verify tools and parts using a tape measure and digital calipers to ensure quality and accuracy. • Label and organize finished parts accurately according to job specifications. • Communicate regularly with the department manager and shop foreman regarding job progress, issues, and maintenance needs. • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company housekeeping standards. • Steel toe shoes or boots • Safety goggles • Hearing protection • Gloves • Mask or respirator as needed • Lift and move materials weighing 70 lbs or more as part of daily job duties. • Navigate communication platforms such as Slack to receive updates, share information, and coordinate with team members. Qualifications • 1+ year of experience operating CNC machines preferred (CAMaster and/or Biesse experience is a plus) • Familiarity with basic machine tool setup and breakdown • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurement tools • Comfortable using tape measures and digital calipers with precision • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • Physically able to lift 70 lbs. or more • Basic computer literacy and ability to use communication tools like Slack • Commitment to workplace safety and following PPE requirements This position involves standing, bending, lifting, and operating heavy equipment in a manufacturing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; dust, airborne particles, loud noises and vibration. The employee will be standing for long periods of time, exposed to high noise levels, required to climb stairs and move equipment. The noise level in the work environment is loud; ear and eye protection is required and other personal protective equipment may be required depending on job duties. Position Responsibilities • Must prepare and organize (before shift starts), operate, and change parts if needed • Perform visual inspection of the product and documentation. • Operate machinery designated by line • Will report any material that does not meet high quality standards • Require to complete and fill out documentation • Report any issues with machinery or product including metal detector to upper management. • Will perform proper cleaning procedures for machine and floors between products and as needed • Will eliminate any possible cross-contamination of product in the area. • Responsible for wearing corresponding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure his own safety and others, this will include wearing hair nets, safety glasses, lab coats, safety shoes, etc. • Maintains all equipment in good condition during any usage, storage and sanitized • Keep good housekeeping practices throughout the company especially in assigned areas. • Must perform inspection of machinery including pre-operational inspections. • Familiarize and obtain knowledge through operating systems (RedZone) • Perform other duties as assigned.
