Responsibilities • Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate components according to specifications. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. • Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of machined parts. • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. • Assemble machined parts as needed for final product completion. • Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience as a manual machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. • Experience with hand tools and basic assembly techniques. • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
