Our company is seeking a skilled Cheese GRD Operator to join our team in Roswell, NM. The ideal candidate will have experience in re-processing cheese and maintaining a clean environment. The Cheese GRD Operator will be responsible for combining blends of input cheese to produce acceptable product, monitoring and controlling inventory of cheese to be refinished, accurately reporting scrap usage and production pounds, and complying with all safety policies and procedures. To succeed in this role, you will need good communication skills, the ability to read and write in English, and intermediate mathematical calculation abilities. You must also be able to maintain accurate records and work independently without direct supervision. This position requires standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing up stairs/ladders. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods.
