The activity requires considerable attention and caution to avoid possible damage and significant damage in the process, such as machine downtime and temporary interruptions impact or significant loss of materials, supplies or products. Roles and Tasks • Interpret drawings and execute the cutting on plates by plasma or Oxifuel. • Allocation plates with crane and magnet. • Collect data from the plate and register them in the roadmap and in the SAP system in order to ensure traceability of the process. • Operate the CNC machine, triggering command devices and monitoring its operation. • Using the measurements device and tape for each dimension of the plate, in order to obtain precision in operations. • Transport material with the help of a crane. • Cutting the scrap materials and disposing them in the designated areas. • Cleaning the CNC machine per supervisors instructions. • Ensure the quality of processed products according to the standards of control. • Optimize the means and tools placed at their disposal. • Avoid unnecessary downtime in the process; ensuring productivity and daily targets are achieved. • Attend training program when called. • Perform other tasks consistent with the requirements for the exercise of the function. • Perform other tasks required by the supervisor. • Respect Safety Standards and use of PPE. • Clock-in and clock-out (mark attendance with the punch card) at the beginning and at the end of the shift. • Clock in and out of operations in SAP. • Carry out activities related to 5S in the area.
