Job Description The CDL Driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading ready mix concrete from the batch plant to customer job sites. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities: • Drive a mixer truck to deliver and unload concrete at designated customer locations. • Verify the load to ensure it meets customer specifications in terms of consistency and additives. • Accurately complete work tickets, including detailed descriptions of activities and customer signatures as required. • Follow written and oral instructions from dispatch or plant managers to ensure the quality of the concrete loaded into the mixer drum is consistent with customer specifications. • Attach extension chutes as needed to facilitate efficient unloading. Requirements: • Minimum age of 21 years old. • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and paper logs. Physical Requirements: • Lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally. • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds frequently. • Regularly climb in and out of equipment 50+ times per day. • Occasional ladder climbing.
