CNC Machinist

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for our operations here in Grand Rapids. We are looking for someone with experience working on Mills and Lathes. This is a 1st shift position working 40-50hr's a week. Typical hours are 6am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Primary responsibilities will include: • Running and setting up CNC mills and CNC lathes. • Interpreting drawings to determine dimension and tolerances. • Measuring and marking dimensions. • Machining mostly steel and some aluminum and copper. Knowledge and skill requirements: • High school diploma or GED required. • Experience with calipers, micrometers, gages, indicators, and scales. • Blueprint reading abilities preferred. • Reading G code a plus.
