CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC machinist to join our industrial manufacturing team. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components. You will work with a variety of materials including metals, plastics, and composites, and must have a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Setting up and programming CNC machines to produce parts and components to precise specifications Operating CNC machines to produce parts and components to the highest level of quality and accuracy Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines Communicating with other team members to ensure that all parts and components are produced on time and to the correct specifications Keeping detailed records of production and machine usage Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating and programming CNC machines in an industrial manufacturing setting Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth. Maintenance Technician ( MT) The Maintenance Technician (MT) is responsible for: • Performs maintenance on automated production machinery to reduce equipment downtime and meet production schedules. • Performs preventive and predictive maintenance as required to ensure equipment availability. • Position reports to a Maintenance Supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Works in a safe manner and is trained in all appropriate plant safety programs. • Performs equipment relocations, crating or uncrating of parts, mechanical adjustments and alignments, identifying and ordering of spare parts, documenting all work, clean-up before leaving job, attending relevant training and meetings. • Participates in projects and upgrades. • Understanding of technical drawings and schematics • Work with suppliers to resolve technical issues • Electrical: : Troubleshoots repairs and interfaces with Robots • Electrical: : Troubleshoot using programmable logic controllers (PLC) systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc) • Electrical: Learning component level repair of obsolete control components • Electrical: Troubleshoot/repair vision systems, photo-eye sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, temperature controllers, variable speed drives, motors, servos, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ultrasonic and RF plastic welders, leak detection systems, and electrical systems up to 480V, 3phase • Machine shop personnel: Knowledge of machining techniques/processes including manual milling, turning, grinding, welding. • Machine shop personnel: Address walk in customer needs • Mold shop personnel: Knowledge of mold repair, teardown, assembly, and cleaning. Learning Mold Shop equipment and mold maintenance methods. • Forklift maintenance personnel: Knowledge of safe best practices for PIT operation and repair. Understanding of battery usage and handling procedures. Basic understanding of forklift repair methods. Job Requirements • Minimum HS Diploma or GED equivalent required • Technical Associates degree (2 year) • 3 years of applicable experience/demonstrated skill required • Required 2 years as a Production Technician or Auxiliary • Must have experience with basic hand tools • Must be able to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams, knowledge of hydraulics • Strong communication skills • Work effectively under stressful conditions • Work with limited supervision Physical/Safety Requirements • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends. • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to climb ladders. Must be able to stand and work at two-hour minimum intervals. Work in tight spaces • Position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
