CNC Lathe Machining Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC Lathe machines to produce high-quality components and parts. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of machining processes. The CNC Machinist will work with various materials, including plastics, and will be instrumental in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate CNC lathes, including Haas controllers, to produce high-precision parts. • Program and edit G-code at the controller and using GibbsCAM software. • Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. • Select and install appropriate tooling; perform tool offsets and adjustments. • Conduct in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment; adhere to all safety protocols. Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist. • Proficiency in programming with GibbsCAM and at the controller (Haas experience preferred). • Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Own set of basic machinist tools required.
