Pay rate $ 25-30/hr Shift: 2nd shift 12pm - 10pm Monday - Thursday JOB FUNCTIONS: • Create and modify product fixtures and tools using machine equipment and techniques acquired by experience • Set-up and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMC) • Edit CNC programs as needed • Machine and modify prototype parts and fixtures and engineering tooling as directed • Perform basic maintenance on CNC, VMC, HMC, Turning Center and manual machines • Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of a finished piece, sequence of operations and set-up requirements • Measure finished parts to verify dimensions and tolerance • Able to measure, cut or work on items with great accuracy • Able to produce parts within tolerances QUALIFICATIONS: • Education: High School or Equivalent • Experience Years: 1-3 years • Experience Type: Machine Shop/Trade School OR • Equivalent combination of education and experience • Knowledge of safety standards for equipment being operated • Able to work with close tolerances • Able to read and interpret prints • Knowledge of G and M code CNC Programs • Able to quickly react to non-conforming as they occur • Mechanical drawing experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00/hr.
