CNC Field Service Technician

Job Responsibilities The Field Service Technician will have an understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to effectively detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Daily travel from home to customer facilities with overnight hotel stays required when servicing remote Customer locations within the designated coverage territory or when participating in remote training programs. • Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, address, diagnose, and repair CNC equipment and accessory CNC equipment at customer facilities. Service calls also include operator training, networking between systems, software applications, preventive maintenance, major assembly replacements and alignments, overhauls/refurbishments, upgrades/retrofits, and un-installation services. • Demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a productive team member. • Ensure accurate documentation is completed and connect with office management daily. Efficiently update the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations using the Salesforce Lightning Customer Support computer system. • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company. • Promote and perform preventative maintenance and successfully diagnose and resolve CNC equipment issues to the customer’s satisfaction. Job Requirements • Minimum of one year of experience with a machine tool builder or distributor, a factory maintenance technician would also be considered. • Proficient verbal and written communication and Customer relation skills. • Able to interact and optimally communicate in person and over the phone with customer and co-workers. • Present a professional image. • Must be adaptable to changes and flexible when dealing with delays, or general work-related issues • Basic digital literacy and understanding of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Must have, and/or be willing/capable of being trained to develop, electro-mechanical skills (motors, drives, transformers etc.). • Knowledge of machine tool manufacture, installation, operation, maintenance & repair and/or a broad shop background, is a plus. • Basic mechanical and logical solving skills and ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics are required. • Rational decision making and problem-solving skills. • Exposure to manufacturing/machining environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated or manual machinery. CNC Setup Machinist

As a CNC Setup Machinist with Augustine Die & Mold, Inc. (ADM) in Somerset, PA, you will use your minimum 6 years of CNC machining experience and minimum 2 years of CNC setup experience to set up a variety of CNC machines from start to finish using drawings, prints, and tool lists for the manufacture of parts for a wide array of industries. Responsibilities/Duties: • Set up CNC machines (multiaxis vertical and horizontal lathes and mills, and wire and sinker EDM) from start to finish, without assistance, using drawings, prints, and tool lists. • Perform at-the-machine modifications of existing CNC programs. • Maximize efficiency and productivity with tooling and fixturing. • Load programs and tools into CNC machines; verify programs before production runs. • Change worn and damaged tools in machines throughout the production process. • Work with Quality Department to uphold policies and first-article inspections. • Perform other duties as assigned. Machine Operator

J&J Truck Bodies & Trailers is looking for individuals to operate production machinery and hand tools to cut, fabricate position, align, and assemble parts. Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and specifications and adjusts machine settings to produce parts and assemblies in a timely fashion and to an acceptable level of quality. Burn table experience is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: • Locate and mark workpiece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications. • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine task sequences. • Move parts into position, manually or by using hoists or cranes. • Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components. • Operate Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) cutting equipment such as plasma, oxyfuel, laser, or water jet to perform profile cutting of aluminum and steel products. • Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required. • Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specifications. • Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems. • Safely perform duties; wear always required PPE. • Observes and complies with all the provisions of the ISO 9001 QMS. Education and Experience: • Vocational/technical training needed or a high school diploma or general education degree with work experience in an industrial setting.
