Job Summary The Commercial HVAC Foreman will be responsible for leading a Team in the removal of old equipment and installation of all heating and cooling systems. As a Foreman you will be held accountable for delegating tasks, ensuring on-time and accurate completion in accordance with blueprints or written instructions. Follow-up and communication on behalf of projects will be required. Essential Functions • Removal of old equipment and installation of air conditioning systems, delegating tasks, ensuring on-time and accurate completion in accordance with blueprints or written instructions. • Ensuring all jobs are safely completed. • Demonstrated proficiency in operating various tools; making necessary machine improvements; diagnosed problems, repaired, and reassembled machines • Self-monitor work in progress to ensure completion within allotted timeframes, as well as acceptable quality standards. • Adherence to proper codes and standards; maintained records and files regarding HVAC installation. • Provide on-the-job training and instruction on duties for HVAC helpers. • Maintain environmental conditions by installing and maintaining both heating and cooling systems. • Test, diagnose, and repair problems in the system and propose relevant solutions. • Manage installation of ducts for ventilation purposes. • Ensure proper running order of all systems. • Works under minimal supervision to install HVAC equipment. • Complete all paperwork in a neat, accurate, timely manner. • Keep company vehicles clean and neat, inside, and outside. • Keep truck inventory up to date. • Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
