HVAC Technician/Installer

We’re looking for a skilled HVAC Installer/Technician to join our team—someone who takes pride in precision, works well in the field, and is passionate about energy-smart solutions. What You’ll Do: • Install high-efficiency furnaces, air conditioners, and electric or hybrid heat pumps • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems to ensure safe and optimal performance • Interpret scopes of work, design specs, and manufacturer instructions • Connect, adjust, or calibrate thermostats, timers, humidistats, and other controls • Install auxiliary components like ductwork, valves, blowers, dampers, and flues • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using standard equipment Clean and maintain HVAC systems (e.g. filters, coils, and ducts) to ensure peak performance Support energy efficiency upgrades across residential and multifamily projects What We’re Looking For: • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation and repair experience • Understanding of HVAC systems, tools, and safe work practices • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and customer service mindset • Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications: • Completion of an accredited HVAC program or apprenticeship • EPA Type II or Universal Certification (preferred but not required) • Experience with heat pump installations and energy efficiency upgrades • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Personal smartphone for communication and job documentation Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs regularly • Comfortable working in crawlspaces, attics, and confined areas • Stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders throughout the day • Work in all weather conditions and year-round environments Perks & Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour • Health, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance • Paid Time OffSteady, year-round work • Opportunities for advancement in a growing clean energy company • Employee discounts on energy upgrades Be part of the future of HVAC—powered by efficiency and purpose. Overview We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Technical Trainer that is HVAC certified to deliver and develop training for equipment across a range of formats and settings. This role is ideal for someone who combines hands on technical expertise with the ability to engage diverse audiences through effective instructional design and presentation. Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC units on Cell Phone Tower Sites. Core Responsibilities • Maintaining commercial cooling systems on Cell Phone Towers – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment. • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services. • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. Core Experience • Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.
