Your Impact Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC package units on Cell Tower Sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Provo, Utah area, Core Responsibilities • Maintaining commercial package cooling systems on Cell Phone Towers – diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems. • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment. • Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment. • Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services. • Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports. • Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements. Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs. • *Core Experience • Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required). • 3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred). • Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred. • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email. Physical/Work Environment At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards. • Candidates should reside in the Provo, Utah area. • Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion. • Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure. • Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night. • Driving to remote work sites as needed. • Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors. • Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds). • May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. What You'll Do • Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps. • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance and longevity. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment. • Replace or repair defective components such as motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats. • Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. • Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding service findings and recommendations. • Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and system conditions. • Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies. What You'll Bring • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred. • 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a similar role. • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components. • EPA 608 certification (required). • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and customer service abilities. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites. Preferred Qualifications: • NATE certification or equivalent. • Experience with commercial HVAC systems and equipment. • Familiarity with digital service tools and mobile work order platforms.
