In this role : • You will oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas. • You will perform winter-stop maintenance on control chilled water and refrigeration systems, centrifugal chillers, and related equipment. • You will maintain air handlers and HVAC distribution systems and assist with refrigeration tasks, repairs, and maintenance on generator sets and power-related equipment, along with fire pump and engine-driven equipment. • You will maintain temperature controls per factory or equipment specification and calibrate pneumatic and digital controls. • You will install, replace, and modify HVAC equipment controls as necessary and evaluate the effectiveness of energy conservation projects. • You will perform, assist, or supervise the testing of medical gas systems and alarms as per regulatory authority requirements and testing procedures What qualifications you will need : • Two (2) years trade school in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related experience. • Current CFC / HCFC Refrigerant Processing certificate as a Universal Technician. • 2-3 years of HVAC experience; acute care facility preferred. • Valid Utah State Driver’s license. • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification. • Heat Ventilation Air Condition (HVAC) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date Brigham City Community Hospital has been the primary center of medicine for Box Elder County for more than 35 years.
