We are seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Project Manager to oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of HVAC control systems for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and customer relations. This role requires collaboration with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: · Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring. · Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with Contractors, Engineers, and/or Owners. · Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial performance. Technical Oversight: · Oversee the design and implementation of HVAC control systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards. · Collaborate with engineers to review system designs, submittals, and equipment selections. Client and Team Collaboration: · Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing project updates. · Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules and quality standards. · Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment. Compliance and Documentation: · Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulations. · Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, schedules, and reports. Qualifications: Skills and Competencies: · Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control technologies, and building automation systems is a plus. · Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project) and office applications. · Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills. · Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for managing diverse customers. · Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or HVAC systems (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE) is a plus.
