What you'll do • Ensure that assigned properties are maintained according to company standards • Some heavy lifting of equipment • Troubleshoot problems and make repairs • Provide excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Perform all the above and other related duties as assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies Qualifications • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required • Minimum 3 years’ field experience in HVAC maintenance or equivalent field • Or, 2 years’ of Technical school training and 1 year in the field • A general mechanical knowledge of plumbing, electrical and building trades • Proficient in reading, writing, grammar and mathematical skills • Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance • Have a valid driver’s license • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (both required) We reward talent. Minimum Qualifications: • Troubleshoot control circuitry for heat pumps, variable air volume units, air handling units and refrigeration equipment. • Able to troubleshoot mechanical components and repair or replace, compressors, thermal expansion valves, cap tubes, condensers and evaporators. • Understand the complete refrigeration cycle and how it relates to equipment. • Certified in evacuation and charging a refrigeration system. • Excellent work habits, attendance record and successfully complete and pass all criminal history and child abuse clearances. • Shall remain free of any alcohol or nonprescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the Corporation.
