Job Requirements • MUST HAVE SALES EXPERIENCE WITH HOME IMPROVEMENTS! • Candidates must have the ability to train technicians in how to determine residential HVAC service needs, quote prices, and perform repairs. Employees must be able to interact and communicate well with customers in their homes and businesses. • Candidates will understand residential heating and cooling equipment operation, IAQ, air distribution systems and basic repairs of HVAC appliances and fixtures. • Training to expand knowledge base and areas of expertise will be provided with further certification expected. • All interested candidates must currently be able to learn to troubleshoot and repair a variety of residential HVAC systems as well as install supporting IAQ products according to manufacturer's specifications and applicable codes. HVAC Mechanic (Westville, IN, US) - Full-time

Overview of HVAC Mechanic The Maintenance Department on the Westville campus is currently seeking a Central Heating and Cooling Operator. This position will operate boilers and chillers to provide campus with steam and chilled water. Daily water testing will be done to maintain proper levels in boiler water and cooling tower water. Daily operation, upkeep of the central plant and equipment within it. This position will also help manage the building automation system which controls the central plant and HVAC systems throughout campus. General HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair will be required. All maintenance positions may be required to assist in snow removal and have the ability to report for unplanned outages or equipment malfunction.
