As an HVAC Helper, you will work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on training in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Key Responsibilities: • Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. • Carry, organize, and manage tools and equipment needed for HVAC projects. • Learn to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. • Assist in routine HVAC maintenance tasks, such as inspections and cleaning. • Perform basic tasks, such as cleaning HVAC components and replacing filters. • Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, respectful, and courteous. Always explain the system to the client when finished with an installation and make sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work. Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving, and make sure that the assistant installer is also working safely and neatly. Maintain a production level minimum as determined by management and the annual plan. Perform full system change-outs in a timely fashion as determined by the manager. Keep trucks neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times. Must adhere to all company policies and codes when performing installation jobs. Other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 100 lbs.Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overheadMust be able to climb and work on laddersMust be able to use hand and power tools Must be able to braze and solder equipment as needed Drug testing, background checks and valid driver's license are conditions of employment.
