Ability to follow controls and wiring schematics. Ability to braze, solder. Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems with little supervision. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position. A Journeyman needs to be a highly trained HVAC technician who installs and repairs HVAC systems. Their duties include assessing the limitations of the building to make recommendations, establishing new systems, and making repairs to existing ones. Their responsibilities also include providing regular maintenance to keep the system working efficiently.
