Responsibilities: • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of industrial HVAC systems, including Chiller and VRF systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with HVAC equipment, controls, and systems. • Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as compressors, motors, valves, and fans. • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems. • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement energy-saving initiatives and system enhancements. • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and inventory records. • Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients. Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the industrial HVAC service field. • Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Chiller and VRF systems. • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and electrical systems. • Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices. • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Job Details: Title: Building Automation Technician III Location: Atlanta GA 30346 Duration: 6 months (Contract to hire) What will you do? This position is responsible for learning to understand project and service requirements, including specifications, standards, schedules, and safety protocols. Utilize mathematical formulas to calculate both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. • Read and comprehend electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals. • Maintain thorough knowledge of, practice, and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA, EPA and other required regulations dealing with safe operation of all equipment. • Interface with a remote operations center to prevent failures, help design proactive notification to avoid failures and compliance We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience: • High school diploma/GED • 7+ years' experience working on power generators, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs • Electrical Generating System Association technician or other various certifications are a plus but not required. • Knowledge using metering and instruments such as multi-meter’s, amp meters, and Hygrometers • Based on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card, valid driver’s license • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 75 lbs.
