Oversee the work of the HVAC Install Apprentice to ensure it is performed correctly and aligns with company standards. Achieve pre-determined goals for efficiency, quality, and sales revenue. Follow all safety procedures while driving and working in the client’s home to protect yourself and company assets. Maintain a professional appearance that exemplifies industry standards. Pay, benefits and other cool stuff: Can expect to earn between $65,000 and $105,000 Get your own vehicle Steady job flow W2-Not a 1099 Paid Time Off Weekly Pay The Job: Install HVAC related equipment and accessories Install gas lines, flue pipes, and wiring Install copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units Design, fabricate and install various ducts and duct fittings Properly connect gas lines to heating equipment Perform start-ups on heating, cooling systems and other components Perform limited Train, coach and mentor apprentices Braze copper joints without leaks Pull vacuums on refrigerant systems and test for tightness Install and program all versions of thermostats Install, wire and plumb all IAQ products Set an air conditioner, heat pump, furnace or air handler Deliver equipment needed to complete the installation and remove old equipment Keep vehicle clean and in safe working order Ensure vehicle is stocked and accurately inventoried Return defective warranty parts to the branch Effectively communicate with the customer regarding questions, concerns and problems Inform a manager if the customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the call Facilitate rescheduling customer appointment Accurately complete all required documentation on services performed Inform a manager or team leader of any safety issues Maintain a courteous demeanor with customers and associates Maintain a professional image by wearing company approved uniform Abide by all standards of performance and ethics Participate in company sponsored training classes Follow all safety policies and procedures Maintain safe working conditions of the install crew Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships Manage callback ratios and labor margins Perform other duties as assigned Interview Process: Our interview process is not long, but it’s thorough. Maintenance Trades Specialist Lead-HVAC

Overview Serves as the technical lead for performing advanced preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs across various building, utility/support and Life Safety systems. Acts as a subject matter expert, mentoring and assisting other Trade Specialists on complex issues. Coordinates and facilitates the work of others but is not a supervisor. Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems. Diagnoses and implements complex repairs for multiple Utility System, Infrastructure and Life Safety Systems. Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems. Operates, monitors and maintains advanced utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems, etc.) and provides oversight of building automation systems to maintain and improve system efficiencies. Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems Reads and updates blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion. Interfaces with vendors, contractors and construction vendors to ensure safe utility interfacing and tie-in. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and ensuring required testing, calibrations and maintenance records are provided and maintained. Education Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training. Certification / License Valid Driver’s License. Industry recognized Trades Certification/License requiring Continuing Education Units or periodic renewal to maintain. Experience: 5 or more Years of Experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations. Ability to work with minimal oversight with advanced technical skills in facility maintenance. Clear written and verbal communication skills required. Advanced computer skills/competency required in using and operating systems such as Microsoft Office Platform, Building Automation Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems. Clear understanding of applicable compliance codes and guidelines. Clear understanding of multiple trades and systems and how they interconnect and support the location. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Works required shifts and participates in on-call duty to provide 24/7 coverage. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, crawl, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead, lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest-level, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance. Must be able to push/pull with 50 lbs. of force. Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards and therefore knowledge of safety precautions. Position requires travel. May be exposed to road/weather hazards. Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
