Electrical Journeyman Instructor for Nantucket Electrical Journeyman Instructor for Nantucket TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:This is a paid part-time, non-benefited position. The instructor is responsible for tracking student attendance and teaching in-person classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00-8:00pm or Saturdays from 8:00am-12:00pm starting in September 2025 and ending in April 2026 at Nantucket High School. JOB SUMMARY:Adult & Continuing Education School at Upper Cape Cod Tech is partnering with the Nantucket Community School to sponsor an Electrical Code and Theory class on Nantucket for students preparing to sit for the Massachusetts Journeyman License Examination. Part-time evening instructors are needed to teach electrical apprentices the 2023 National Electrical Code Book and approved curriculum. Methods of instruction include in-person lectures, interactive classroom teaching, and practice tests. The curriculum is based on the Mike Holt Enterprises training system.
