Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our Solar Installation Division. This role is essential to connecting and powering residential and commercial solar systems. You’ll handle everything from system tie-ins to battery installations to diagnosing electrical issues. What You’ll Do • Perform electrical tie-ins for residential and commercial solar PV systems • Install, configure, and commission solar batteries/energy storage systems (e.g., Enphase. • Troubleshoot electrical and solar-system issues • Ensure projects meet NEC code, local permitting, and utility interconnection requirements • Work closely with install crews to maintain safety and quality standards • Conduct service calls and diagnose system irregularities • Review single-line diagrams and assist with layout planning • Maintain clean job documentation and communicate clearly with customers and team • Help improve installation processes and contribute to ongoing team training • Represent Yellowball with professionalism, integrity, and positive energy What We’re Looking For • Current Journeyman Electrician License (Montana or ability to transfer/reciprocate) • Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical installation best practices • Experience with solar systems is a plus—not required.
