Angstrom Fiber - Auburn Position Posting – Interview DATE: January 27, 2023 DEPARTMENT: Maintenance POSITION TITLE: Industrial/Manufacturing Electrician SHIFT: All Shifts Responsibilities: ➢ Production trouble shooting ➢ New equipment installation and equipment relocation projects ➢ Perform electrical and electronic functions within our manufacturing facility ➢ Initiate PM’s of electrical equipment ➢ Correct code violations ➢ Response to emergency and on call during some non-scheduled hours ➢ Specials projects/activities or other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements: ➢ Industrial/Manufacturing Electrician with 5-10 years’ experience. Master electrician preferred but not required. ➢ 5 years’ experience in AB, PLC’s high voltage and electronic intensive equipment ➢ Ability to head up projects including new equipment installation ➢ Excellent documentation skills ➢ Basic Instrumentation knowledge ( Pressure/Temp/Level) ➢ Training ability and willingness for skills such as programming, CAD, hardware and software utilization, ➢ Demonstrated high level of knowledge in methods, materials, and equipment in Manufacturing equipment ➢ Demonstrated outstanding skills, including creating, reading, interpreting, and working from electrical schematics, plans, drawings, and specifications, estimating materials needed, and keeping appropriate records ➢ Willingness to accept additional duties as department requires ➢ Consistent outstanding performance level in safety, work ethic, and professionalism ➢ Demonstrated initiative and continued improvement of skill levels ➢ Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills ➢ Attention to detail, with demonstrated ability in problem solving ➢ Computer literacy required including Microsoft office ➢ Must be able to perform the essential job functions ➢ Additional responsibilities as assigned Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $40.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Schedule: • Monday to Friday • On call • Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: • Auburn, ME 04210: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: • Manufacturing: 5 years (Required) • Master Electrician: 5 years (Required) Language: • English (Required) Work Location: In person
