Trim Carpenter

Job Description: As a Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and crafting the finishing touches that bring our projects to life. Your expertise in trim work and custom woodwork will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality results. Key Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, and install baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, and other trim work. • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and sketches to understand project requirements. • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. • Sand, stain, paint, or finish wood surfaces to achieve the desired look and protection. • Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of trim work. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter or similar role. • Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing woodwork with precision. • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for high-quality finishes. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the job. • Physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
