Experience in historic restoration is highly valued but not required. Primary Responsibilities: • Set up and protect work areas according to project standards • Perform high-quality finish carpentry work independently and with minimal supervision • Maintain clean and organized job sites daily • Interpret shop drawings and specifications to produce accurate carpentry assemblies for restoration projects Required Skills & Qualifications: • Ability to work independently and stay focused without direct oversight • Proficient in using finish carpentry tools and equipment (saws, drills, routers, planers, nail guns, compressors, etc.) • Skilled in operating woodworking shop equipment (planers, jointers, drill press, table saws, sanders, lathes, etc.) • Familiarity with common wood species used in finish carpentry • Precision in measuring, cutting, and fitting millwork and lumber to within 1/32”–1/16” accuracy • Competent in using framing and speed squares to find and mark angles • Skilled in coping inside miters and installing finish millwork that is square, level, and true • Capable of installing door/window casing, baseboards, crown molding, cornices, and staircases for both stained and painted finishes • Ability to read blueprints and determine layouts and dimensions • OSHA 10 certification required prior to job start • Must be eligible to pass a federal security clearance Why Join TTG?
