Carpenters Needed! Location: Tallahassee, FL Position: Full-Time Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM We are looking for skilled Carpenters to join our team! If you have experience in general carpentry and are ready to take on advanced installation tasks, we want to hear from you. Job Duties: • Proficient in general carpentry duties for residential and commercial projects. • Perform advanced installation tasks: Set double, swinging, and sliding glass doors with and without pan flash. Install interior trim for doors and windows. • Be proficient with a chalk gun for accurate installations. • Supervise and guide assistants to ensure quality and efficiency on job sites. • Execute precise layout work: Lay out horizontal siding, board-and-batten, frieze boards, band boards, and flashing areas. Job Qualifications: • Previous construction and carpentry experience is required. • Strong physical stamina to perform tasks in various weather conditions. • Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality craftsmanship. • Good organizational and time management skills. • A valid driver's license is required. • Restoration experience is a plus. • Must be willing to travel locally to different job sites. Carpenter 3 (Multiple Vacancies)

Department Facilities - Maintenance Responsibilities • Performs repairs and replacement of floor tiles, ceramic tiles, and damaged carpet campus wide. Field measure, build and install and or repair kitchen cabinets vanities and shelving units along with general carpentry. Repair furniture tables, chairs etc. Repair and or install new doors and hardware. Assist other trades as needed ie Locksmith, plasterer and painters. • Use vehicles to carry supplies and travel campus wide to perform various skilled maintenance. Performs minor plaster and sheet rock repairs including maintenance but not limited to such tasks as doors, furniture, painting, and lock hardware. • Documents work performed and orders materials on appropriate departmental forms. Maintains tools and equipment, organizes and cleans assigned shop areas as required and performs related work as assigned by supervisor. • Performs additional maintenance and supervises helpers as required. Qualifications • High school diploma and equivalency and ten years external professional experience or a post high school education and external professional experience equal to ten years. • Builders License required. • A valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or ability to obtain upon hire.
