Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Provides the necessary craft for maintenance and renovation of the building structures, finishes, furnishings, and all other duties as required. Responsibilities • Keeps equipment clean and operational. Handles and disposes of hazardous and or infectious waste properly and practices infection control. Adheres to regulatory guidelines. • Produces professional, high quality construction and coating applications utilizing standard painter and carpentry skills. • Performs layout and planning of construction tasks. • Documents labor hours and material usage for capital projects. • Plans and performs preventative and corrective maintenance according to approved procedures, department policies, and manufacturer's specifications. The Construction Industry Liaison serves as an active liaison with external stakeholders including general contractors, sub-contractors, trade unions, trades training centers, construction sector intermediary, construction and development bodies, developers, builders and site personnel to ensure the successful implementation of the Career Pathways Apprenticeship Readiness program.
