Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our team in the construction and restoration industry. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes various carpentry techniques, construction site experience, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Duties • Perform construction estimating to determine project costs and resource needs. • Execute trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and specifications. • Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as needed. • Participate in fabrication processes, including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation. • Conduct roofing, siding, flooring installation, and tile laying activities. • Apply caulking, stucco, and other finishing techniques to ensure quality results. • Assist with water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general restoration projects. • Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks while maintaining safety standards. • Demonstrate maintenance person experience by addressing various maintenance issues on-site. • Perform construction painting, metal stud framing, plumbing, masonry, and electrical tasks as required. Experience Candidates should have a solid background in the following areas: • Construction estimating and project management skills. • Trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, and fabrication expertise. • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Previous experience working on construction sites with a focus on restoration projects. • Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding of schematics for effective execution of tasks. • Experience in concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, stucco application, cabinet installation, door hanging, maintenance person services, construction painting, metal stud framing, CNC operations, assembly processes, mold remediation practices, plumbing skills, masonry work, remodeling projects.
