Essential Functions Physical Functions: • Lift and carry materials weighing 50 to 100 pounds and occasionally more. • See well (either naturally or with correction). • Coordinate the movements of eyes, hands and fingers. • Use hands and arms fully to reach for, handle and manipulate objects. • Climb and maintain body balance on ladders and scaffolding. • Stand, walk, kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, crawl or work for long periods at heights required. • Access multiple levels of height and depth. • Access confined spaces. Duties: • Load, transport, unloads and furnishes experienced craft workers with materials, tools, equipment and supplies. • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above or below ground level. • Assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation. • Perform other routine duties such as rigging, metal studs, drywall, lathing, acoustical ceilings, foundation, rough framing, layout, roof framing, concrete forms, level and transit, basic cutting, welding, cabinet making, finish trim, door hanging and hardware, millwright or any other duties as directed by experienced craft worker. • The ability to meet the above duties will be based on the standards and guidelines set forth by Jaynes Structures’ Directors. The inability to perform the above duties will result in position and/or wage demotion and possible dismissal. Additional Responsibilities: • Perform minor maintenance on tools and equipment as necessary. • Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas. • Restock supplies and materials as necessary. • Perform other routine duties as directed by supervisors. Requirements: • Current and valid drivers’ license in the state of permanent residence (must be insurable by Jaynes Structures’ automobile insurance carrier in order to drive a Jaynes Structures’ vehicle). • Proof of current completion of a general course recognized by Jaynes Structures in “Hazardous Substances – Recognition and Protection”, if applicable. (Or must attend next available class.) • Willingness to attend safety meetings and receive required training. Carpenter Apprentice classes are required. Continuing education is required. • Member in good standing with the local Carpenters Union. • Ability to follow specific directions, perform a variety of duties which may often change, work within standards of accuracy, repeat tasks of short duration according to set procedure and evaluate information using measurable standards. • Ability to work out of town and varying hours as required, full-time or over-time, evenings or weekends. • Ability to work in a variety of environments which will include working outside in extreme weather conditions and noise levels. Accountabilities: • This position is supervised by the Journeyman Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, Superintendent, Vice President of Concrete Operations, Vice President of Field Operations and the President. • This position does not supervise any employees. Commercial Concrete Carpenter

General description: The Concrete Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks. This individual will work with others and will be under the direction of a Foreman for the successful completion of each building. This person works very diligently with their hands and pays close attention to detail. Tasks include erecting and setting forms for concrete structures, foundations, buildings, and site work per specifications and drawings. This may include concrete tilt-wall forms, symon forms and/or structural forms for columns, decks, elevator cores, parking garages and other cast-in-place concrete structures. Responsibilities • Fabricate and assemble tilt up panels. • Able to form footings, column pads and other structural concrete. • Install and align embedded items such as anchor bolts, inserts and lifting hardware. • Assist with layout as needed. • Strip forms after panels are poured. • Maintain and keep track of tools. Requirements • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. • Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks as needed. • Knowledge of tilt up panels and the process (preferred) • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Able to work weekends if needed. • Able to provide basic hand tools for carpentry. • OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain one. Working Conditions • Work outside in various working conditions. • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
